| What is the Test Crew? | |
| The Aircooled.Net Test Crew is a subgroup of our Club Members that are an important part of the team that helps us determine which new parts are going to be added to our database of "Aircooled.Net Approved" parts for sale. The "Aircooled.Net Approved" designation means that ALL aspects of a part meet our and our customers' standards. We are in need of Crew Members of all degrees of experience, from the "newbie" to the "oldtimer". | |
| How does the Test Crew Program Work? | |
| Test parts are offered to Crew Members at distributor's cost plus shipping. Members are buying the parts to keep and use. The cost to Crew Member's ends up usually being about 40% below retail price! In return for the discount, Crew Members must document their experience with the test part, and provide detailed written feedback on aspects of the part's performance and usability. For example, information on problem mounting/fitting, need for instructions, durability, does it work as expected and as advertised, etc. | |
| There is much to gain if you are willing to commit the time for the Test Part Report, which is required of the Crew in exchange for the discount off the part cost. We don't want you to kid yourself, a Test Part Report is not a one liner "the part was Kewl" kind of deal. We need details and thoughtful analysis so that we can properly evaluate the products! The Test Crew Report form will be online for easy submission. You can expect to spend approximately one hour reviewing a test part for performance, ease of installation, and general usability. | |
