Don't take a chance of contaminating your new brake shoes with brake fluid, get new wheel cylinders! These are NOT German, unless SPECIFIED! Our Super-Stopper wheel cylinders compensate for different size tires in the front and rear of the car, OR on super light front end cars like buggies and Manx's. These are sold per EACH, not per pair.
Many people are not aware that you should not use suction type tools to bleed VW Wheel Cylinders (air will suck into the wheel cylinder). And it's wise to change brake fluid every year! Brake fluid is hydroscopic, which means is sucks up water (from the air's humidity) like a sponge. Once the water is in the brake fluid, it will corrode your brake lines, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders! If brake fluid is not clear, change it. Water in the brake fluid will turn it brown from rust.
