Questionable hoses should be replaced. These are sold per EACH.
Rubber hoses can fail on the inside, and not show a leak! This is more common that people realize. Symptoms are a wheel that won't release the brake, or a dragging drum/rotor. The hose becomes swelled shut, and the high pressure produced by the master cylinder allows fluid to the wheel, but the return spring doesn't have enough pressure to move it back, and the brakes stay on (wearing out your parts)
