We carry several flywheel models. Stock flywheels are cast and 4 dowelled, which is fine to 90hp or 6k RPM. If you exceed either of these, you need a lightened Chrome Vanadium Flywheel.
Rotating weight takes a log of power to accelerate. Reducing weight here is like adding power! For busses and off road vehicles, we recommend stock weight flywheels.

FYI, Chrome Vanadium flywheels are stronger then the "Chrome Moly" ones that seem to be "all the rage" right now. All our flywheels but the "stock" flywheels are Chrome Vanadium Steel. Stock flywheels are Cast Iron, and are fine to 90hp or 6k RPM.
