MADE IN THE USA! Pronounced "Dee-Vess". These are the finest conventional piston rings we have found! Deves rings are made of the finest Swedesh Steel from the World's masters in advanced metallurgy. A special composition alloy designed for high heat transfer, high flexibility, and low wear rates, is used, and the performance of Deves rings is unmatched by any other line of piston rings.
ALL Cast Iron composition means they break in very quickly (chrome rings can take forever or NEVER to properly break-in). Deves rings cost a bit more than the budget rings, but we've never had a complaint about their quality or their operation! Be VERY careful when selecting your application, there are some obscure ones in there for Japanese piston sets, etc, and these are NOT RETURNABLE because of a special order! You need to measure your ring THICKNESSES to select the correct ring set. The 3 measurements are the thickness of the Top ring, 2nd ring, and Oil ring respectively.

On special request (and wait), we can provide ANY of these rings in .5 and 1mm oversizes. It was not uncommon for VW (the dealer) to bore cylinder oversize, then provide larger pistons (typically .5mm OS) and rings, in their "rebuilt" engines. We can provide you with rings for these impossible to find applications.
