When carbs get old the gaskets leak, as do o-rings and seals. This leakage will give erratic operation, and can result in fuel leaks outside the carburetor (look for gas staining on the carb body). Rebuild kits give you the parts you need to get the leakage stopped! Carburetor rebuilding is often needed if the car has been sitting for a long time, the gasoline turns to varnish and can clog sensitive circuits inside the carburetor.
MASTER kit comes with float. Choose application carefully. Every one of these kits does one CARB (not a pair).
