The Steering Box is the mechanism that changes the axis of "twisting" from the steering column to one that moves the tie rods. It's also responsible for a leverage change due to gearing. Worn steering boxes have tight and/or loose spots in their range of motion, leading to erratic driving.
We supply both new and rebuilt steering boxes, depending upon availability.
